Who are we... |
|
We opened our doors on June 1, 1993, in Taylor, Michigan. At that time we brought our 100+ years of carbide manufacturing knowledge and experience to the industry. At first, we did only press and sintering of high-cobalt bushings for the cold heading industry. In 1995 we expanded and moved our operations to Cape Coral, Florida. We continued to expand our capabilities and in 1998 opened our semi-finish division in Punta Gorda, Florida. A few years later, due to our continued steady growth, we combined our operations under one roof at our present plant at 7880 Interstate Court in North Fort Myers, Florida. We presently occupy 17,500 square feet of manufacturing space with an option of 15,500 more square feet available for future growth. Although we supply die and wear parts in many shapes and forms, our specialty lies in rough core and/or semi-finished bushings. We have enjoyed steady growth throughout the years not only because we supply a good quality product at a fair price but because we do so with the utmost attention to servicing our Customers with excellence. This service is unobtainable by our competitors. Creative Carbide's entire staff is at our customers disposal to do everything from expediting quotes and orders, analyzing potential carbide problems and follow up. With our combined 100+ years in the carbide manufacturing business, plus servicing die shops and fastener manufacturers, we have the background to assist in grade selection, identifying failure modes and potential design problems. We are proud to announce that Creative Carbide achieved ISO 9000-2001 Certification. This has increased confidence in our clients regarding our quality and operations processes. We would like to leave an open invitation to meet with you in person in order to expand our ideas and/or answer any questions you may have.
